The main symptom of gallbladder trouble is extreme distress after eating fatty foods. Junk food French fries are the acid test. If after eating fast food fries, one feels like stopping by ER on the way home, there is almost certainly gall bladder trouble. Natural healers have used the simple olive oil and lemon juice flush to relieve symptoms of gallbladder distress. Others fast on apples or eat a lot of radishes.

Peumus boldo comes from the Chilean Andes and has a marvelous minty aroma. Taste and the Elements - 6 hour seminar by Ingrid Naiman

Kitchen Doctor, four 90-minute audio cassettes

The energetic system—fire, earth, air, and water—is discussed in this seminar on "Taste and Elements." Every person is born with a basic constitutional type. It is through an understanding of the idiosycracies of the type that proper managment of the symptoms related to imbalance can achieved. Early symptoms are usually non-pathological and relatively easily adjusted through diet and herbs and modest life style changes. Every single thing we do, everything we eat, as well as who we think and feel, affects balance.

Contains: four 90-minute audio cassettes in vinyl album.

Omega Nutrition Olive Oil,

Olive Oil, 12 oz

Depending on one's eating habits, oil may constitute anywhere from 15-30% of the total caloric intake (more if the diet is very poor). Nearly all oils are dangerous. They are susceptible to rapid deterioration when exposed to heat (in processing as well as storage and cooking), light (transparent bottles), and air (opening the bottle.) Using an organically grown, cold processed, totally unrefined oil that is bottled in an entirely opaque container will result in a considerable extra expense as compared to cheap super market oils, but without changing a single recipe, the benefits will be enormous.

Contains: certified-organic extra virgin olive oil.

Stone Free Herbal Remedy

Stone Free, 180 tablets

People with chronic gallbladder distress may need to take Stone Free for 2-3 months before experiencing greater ease with fat metabolism. The primary ingredient in Stone Free is turmeric. Roughly 5-7 bottles may be needed before the deposits in the gallbladder are totally emulsified. Then, because the formation of gallstones is generally due to fundamental constitutional imbalances, the tendency to form more stones will persist. This means that periodic use of this or a similar product as well as repeated flushes will be supportive of good health. Some people need to do the flush once a year, others only once every ten years.

Contains: Proprietary Blend of Turmeric Root, Gravel Root, Dandelion Root Extract (4:1), Ginger Root, Lemon Balm Leaf, Marshmallow Root, Parsley Root, Dandelion Root, and Licorice Root.

Other Ingredients: microcrystelline cellulose, stearic acid, acacia gum, modified cellulose gum, colloidal silicon dioxide.
