There are countles sources of xenoestrogens in our environment, food supply, and life styles. These range from synthetic hormones such as those found in birth control pills as well as ones ingested coincidentally as a result of consumption of animal products. Add to this plastics and various synthetics and we are over the top.

Since this topic is a little "esoteric", it might help to explain that phytoestrogens bind to estrogen receptor sites making it easier to eliminate the chemical estrogens to which we are all exposed. The liver needs support to help remove the endocrine disrupting xenoestrogens.
